Legoland Windsor 2011, a set on Flickr.
Being us though of course we left it to the absolute last minute to sort out and it was pretty busy today. We only paid £30 for the whole family to go in though, so we were happy.
Had a good stroll round miniland, a play in Duploland, avoiding the water fountains (which we planned to let the kids play in later but ended up not doing because of the rain). Went on every train in the place I think.
The Learner Driver cars were a big hit - we spent the whole time in the queue coaching Claud that she had to say she was 3 when asked as that was the minimum age to go and she was desperate for a go. We thought we'd cracked it, then as we got near, James piped up, "don't forget to pretend you're 3 Claud!!" Luckily he wasn;t heard and she managed to say 3 when asked how old she was and on she went. And she wasn't half bad at it actually!
Just time for an ice cream and a go at the digging, then the heavens opened and we, like everyone else, decided to abandon ship and decamp to the shop... All the money we'd saved on the entrance fees gone, we headed home with two very happy children indeed!
